Lamar Union’s floor plans page listed market-rate starting prices of $1,643 for the 434 sq ft 0J studio and $2,000 to $2,527 for one-bedrooms on Oct 3, 2026. Two-bedrooms started at $2,650 for the 2D and $3,459 for the 2.5-bath 2L. Individual homes in the same plan can cost more, up to $6,340 for the 2L unit listed. The site also lists an Affordable SMART Housing program, which has its own rules, so contact the office about it. See the Lamar Union floor plans page.
The site banner advertised up to four weeks free on select units, with restrictions and for new residents only. Ask which homes qualify before you count on it.

The page says utility fees can change and may not apply to all residents. If every fixed monthly fee listed applied, they would add up to $87.75 a month before utilities. The community fees page lists a $1,000 transfer fee and hourly clubhouse rental as well. Ask the office for a written move-in cost sheet for your floor plan.

Community: a rooftop pool with downtown views, two sky lounges, a 24-hour fitness center with a yoga and dance studio, outdoor firepits and gas grills, a gated pet park with an agility course, a resident business office with print stations, bike storage, two EV charging stations and underground parking.
Apartment: vinyl wood flooring, extra-large closets, private balconies, stainless steel appliances, chef-style kitchens and in-unit laundry. Some homes have skyline, boulevard or hill views, large patios or yards.

What is the pet policy at Lamar Union?
Lamar Union allows up to two pets per apartment with no weight limit, and pets must be enrolled in PetScreening. The fees page and FAQ list a one-time $350 pet fee and $25 monthly pet rent per pet, with no separate pet deposit, though one page of the site shows $400 per pet, so confirm the number with the office. The breed list includes Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Bulldogs, Cane Corsos, Chows, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Siberian Huskies, Terriers and Wolf Hybrids. There is a gated pet park, and exotic pets are generally not permitted.
What are the lease terms, utilities and parking at Lamar Union?
The pages I read did not list lease terms. Each lease holder gets one covered space at no cost in the underground lot, and the FAQ says an additional space costs a one-time $75 pass plus $75 a month. Many homes are individually metered for utilities, and the FAQ names AT&T and Spectrum for internet and cable, with Google Fiber for internet only.
Where is Lamar Union and what is nearby?
Lamar Union is at 1100 S Lamar Blvd in the Zilker and South Lamar area. The property says it is walkable to Zilker Park and Barton Springs, across the street from the Alamo Drafthouse, and close to Odd Duck, and that it offers access to MoPac and nearby bus routes.
