Taco Street Locating is, as far as we can tell, the first apartment locator in the official MCP Registry—which means Claude and other AI assistants can now search our inventory, ask our human locator questions, and hand us your apartment hunt mid-conversation.
Here’s the thing about asking an AI to find you an apartment: it’s great at lists and terrible at truth. It can tell you what was on the internet last month. It can’t tell you whether the “move-in special” is still running, whether the one-bedroom that shows online actually exists, or whether the property will bend on a six-month lease. Those answers live in phone calls.
Phone calls are our whole job.
So we connected the two. If you use an AI assistant that supports MCP—the open standard AI tools use to talk to services—it can now:
- Search our curated inventory across Austin, Dallas, and Houston—the same scored results our own site gives, with real starting prices we re-check on a rolling schedule.
- Build you a shortlist—one link opens your saved list on our site with the finalists already there, ready to compare and tour.
- Ask our human locator a question about current specials, real availability, or lease flexibility. A person (hi, I’m Alexander) answers during business hours, and your assistant relays it back to you.
- Hand us your search—with your okay, your assistant shares your contact information and a human takes over: confirming pricing, booking tours, and telling you which “amenities” are actually a parking lot.
And because properties pay locators, all of it is free to you. That’s not a launch promotion; it’s how apartment locating has always worked in Texas.
