Eight Austin-area communities say on their own sites, as of Oct 2, 2026, that internet is included, bundled or offered. The Waller includes AT&T fiber, Progress at Tech Ridge lists internet with WiFi included, and The Magnolia bundles it in an amenity fee. Water Marq and Marq Uptown list Google Fiber at $65; Mueller Flats lists Spectrum at $79.
What internet do these Austin apartments list? (checked Oct 2, 2026)
| Community | Address | Internet, as the property words it | Price listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Waller (FAQ) | 1104 Sabine St, Austin, TX 78701 | “Pre-installed AT&T fiber optic internet managed through a third-party provider, WhiteSky,” plus complimentary community-wide Wi-Fi | Included in standard monthly fees |
| Progress at Tech Ridge (amenities) | 1601 Scottsdale Ln, Austin, TX 78753 | “High Speed Internet w/ WiFi Included” on the apartment amenity list | Listed as included; no separate price shown |
| The Magnolia at Georgetown (FAQ), Georgetown | 3001 NE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626 | The amenity fee is “a single bundled charge that covers your internet, pest control, and the upkeep of all shared amenities” | Bundled in the amenity fee; the amount was not on the page I read |
| The Grassdale at Manor (site), Manor | 12601 US Highway 290 E, Manor, TX 78653 | “High-speed internet and video service will be pre-installed for move-in ready convenience” | Price not stated on the pages I read |
| Water Marq (resident access) | 300 E Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78704 | “Google Fiber” in the list of additional fees on top of rent | $65 a month |
| Marq Uptown (resident access) | 3320 Harmon Ave, Austin, TX 78705 | “Google Fiber Cable” in the list of additional fees on top of rent | $65 a month |
| Mueller Flats (deposits page) | 1071 Clayton Ln, Austin, TX 78723 | “Spectrum Cable/Internet” in the other fees list | $79 a month |
| Retreat at Barton Creek (amenities) | 3816 South Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 | Home page lists “Google Fiber Internet,” and the amenity list marks “Google Fiber*” as available in select apartments | Price not stated on the pages I read |
“Included,” “bundled” and “listed as a fee” are different things. The Waller says internet is in its standard monthly fees, Water Marq and Marq Uptown itemize Google Fiber separately at $65, and Mueller Flats itemizes Spectrum at $79. None of these pages publishes speeds or says that a given address is fiber-ready, so confirm service at your unit with the provider before you sign. “Not stated” means the page I read did not say.

What should I ask about internet before I lease?
Ask whether internet is required or optional, whether the price is fixed for the lease, what speed tier it includes, who bills you, and whether you can bring your own provider. Also ask the provider to confirm service at your exact unit number, since a building can list a provider that does not wire every floor.
