By Alexander Concepcion, Taco Street Locating. Building prices below were checked on each property’s own website between Sep 30 to Oct 1, 2026. Estimates are labeled as estimates.
This guide compares Fort Worth buildings across downtown, the Near Southside, West 7th and the Stockyards. On the dates I checked in Sep to Oct 2026, the 6 buildings we priced from their own websites listed 1-bedroom starting prices from $1,344 to $2,250, and 2-bedroom from $1,890 to $3,409. These are estimates, not a city average.

Fort Worth apartment prices at a glance (estimates, checked Oct 2026)
This is not an area average. It is the range of “from” prices that the 6 Fort Worth buildings below list on their own websites on the dates shown. Some prices are base rent and some are total monthly cost, so read the “basis” column in the building table before comparing.
| Size | Lowest to highest “from” price (estimate) | Median of those prices | Buildings with a listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | $1,249 to $1,582 | $1,312 | 4 |
| 1-bedroom | $1,344 to $2,250 | $1,380 | 6 |
| 2-bedroom | $1,890 to $3,409 | $2,005 | 3 |
Higher-priced buildings tend to be newer or taller buildings with more amenities; lower prices often belong to older or smaller communities, or to a single plan that is the cheapest in the building. A starting price is the cheapest listed home, not what every home costs.

How to compare apartment costs in Fort Worth
- Ask for the total monthly cost. Base rent plus required monthly fees (pest, trash, valet trash, package or amenity fees), parking and pet rent can add up to a very different number from the advertised rent.
- Ask what is one-time. Application, administrative and security deposit amounts are not published by every property; I mark those “ask the office” instead of guessing.
- Read specials closely. “Up to X weeks free” usually applies to certain homes and lease lengths. Compare the net cost over the whole lease, not just the headline.
- Compare lease length. The same plan can have different prices on different terms, so compare like with like.
Frequently asked questions

As an estimate, on the dates shown the 6 Fort Worth-area buildings in this guide listed 1-bedroom starting prices from $1,344 to $2,250 (median $1,380) and 2-bedroom starting prices from $1,890 to $3,409 (median $2,005). What fees should I ask about in Fort Worth?
Ask for the application fee, administrative fee, security deposit, parking charge, monthly fees for pest, trash and package services, and pet rent. Several property sites do not publish these amounts, and our building pages say so rather than guess. Ask the leasing office for a written total.
How do I find apartments with specials in Fort Worth?
Specials change often and usually apply to certain homes and lease lengths. Our building pages show the special each property listed on the date I checked. Tell me your dates and budget and I’ll ask the buildings on your shortlist what they are offering now.
Which Fort Worth building had the lowest 1-bedroom starting price?
On the dates I checked, Montage Southside and Madera at Leftbank ($1,344 each) and The Union at Stockyards (base rent $1,362) listed the lowest 1-bedroom starting prices among the six priced buildings. Prices change daily and bases differ, so compare the basis on each building page.
