By Alexander Concepcion, Taco Street Locating. Checked Oct 2, 2026 against each property’s own website (linked in the table). Rye Heights added Oct 3, 2026 from its amenities page.

Six of the eight Houston buildings checked on Oct 2, 2026 list an on-site dog park: The Star (indoor), The Anderson at River Oaks (two), Hanover Buffalo Bayou, City View Lofts, 1810 Main (covered) and Rye Heights, which adds a pet spa. Market Square Tower lists a grooming suite and Broadstone EaDo none on site.

Which Houston apartments have a dog park or pet spa? (checked Oct 2, 2026)

The Anderson at River Oaks (site) 2724 Kipling St, 77098 “Two dog parks,” plus “an expansive pet park and luxurious pamper station” Not shown on the pages I checked
Hanover Buffalo Bayou (site) 707 Marston St, 77019 “A pet spa with grooming stations and an exclusive dog park” Not shown on the pages I checked
City View Lofts (site) 15 N Chenevert St, 77002 Dog park Not shown on the pages I checked
1810 Main (site) 1810 Main St, 77002 “Covered On-Site Dog Park” and “Dog Wash and Self-Service Grooming Area” Deposit $300 (refundable), fee $300, rent $25 a month (2026 fee breakdown)
Market Square Tower (FAQ) 777 Preston St, 77002 On-site pet grooming suite; pet daycare, walking and boarding through Unleashed Retreat; the FAQ says Market Square Park across the street has a city-managed dog park (not on site) Up to 2 pets; weight limits and breed restrictions apply
Broadstone EaDo (FAQ) 2425 Bell St, 77003 No on-site dog park listed; the site shows EaDo Dog Park about a 4-minute walk away Deposit $200, fee $300, rent $25 a month, 2 pets
Rye Heights (site) 1111 W 23rd St, 77008 “Outdoor dog park and pet spa” on the amenities list Two pets per apartment home, per the FAQ; charges not shown on the pages I checked for this page

Citadel (2220 Pinegate Dr, 77008) lists “several dog parks less than 15 minutes away” on its site, which is not an on-site park, so it is not in the table. “Pet spa” and “wash station” mean different things at different buildings, so ask what the grooming area includes, who maintains it and whether use costs extra. Breed and weight limits apply at many properties, so confirm before you apply.

How should I compare dog-park amenities?

Ask whether the dog park is indoors or outdoors, whether it is fenced and gated, whether it is on the property or at a nearby city park, and how many pets are allowed per home. Then add the one-time pet fee and monthly pet rent to the monthly budget.
