The Asher (fee schedule) “Application Fee $100.00 One-time Mandatory” “Administrative Fee $150.00 One-time Mandatory” “Security deposit amounts, if required, may vary based on screening results.” Optional additional deposits of $300.00, $400.00 and $500.00 are listed by floor plan
Eastridge (FAQ) “a $50 application fee for every applicant over the age of 18” “a $150 admin fee” “either $400 (one-bedroom), $500 (two-bedroom), or $600 (three bedroom)”
Alexan Riverbend (floor plans) “APPLICATION FEE $100 per applicant, required” “ADMINISTRATIVE FEE $250 per unit, required” “SECURITY DEPOSIT (based on qualifying standards) $500 per unit, required”

Mueller Flats (deposits page) “All application fees are non-refundable.” “Administrative fees will be returned to you for any reason if your application has been denied.” “Your security deposit will be returned to you if for any reason you are turned down.” Amounts are not on the page I read

Add the application fee for every adult applicant to the admin fee and the deposit, then add the first month’s rent. At Eleven and Windsor on the Lake the $300 application deposit is applied to the first month’s rent, so it is not an extra charge on top, and it is refundable if the application is denied. “Not stated” means the page I read did not say. The Hillside at Parmer offer comes with restrictions and depends on approved credit, so confirm the current terms in writing.

How do I estimate my total move-in cost in Austin?

Use this order: application fee times the number of adult applicants, plus the admin fee, plus the deposit, plus any pet fees and the prorated first month. For a two-adult household at Alexan Riverbend that is $200 in application fees, $250 admin and a $500 deposit, or $950 before rent and pet charges. At Eastridge the same two adults pay $100 in application fees, $150 admin and a $500 deposit for a two-bedroom, or $750. Compare this with Security deposits at Austin apartments for deposit-only detail.
